Resignation letter
Dear Madam Rose,
I am writing this letter not to come off as “better-than-anyone-else” but I just want to share my 2 cents worth with you. For the past month I’ve been working with *insert name of company here*, I can’t help but think of my mother who’s having monthly monitoring of blood chemistry due to her rheumatic heart disease plus her knee surgery. What if the doctors/medical technologists are requesting for tests she doesn’t even need? What if the results are just being manipulated and aren’t accurate? What if there are already complications but aren’t given sufficient attention because of irresponsibility of other people who just want to make money out of it? I can imagine the hard-earned money being wasted and the effort of my mother who is having a hard time going to the hospital because she can’t even walk without proper aide if these questions in my mind are really happening. Being a fresh graduate I must admit I am naïve to the harsh realities of the real world but I am truly blessed because I got the chance to earn a degree in an institution where compassion for humanity is one of core ideals. I am fully aware that the job I do is directly and indirectly affects thousands of people. It can be very frustrating and hard to keep yourself motivated when you are certain that you can contribute so much more to the society but unable to do it because you are underutilized. Yes I feel underutilized. As a licensed chemist I feel that way after doing an experiment and knowing someone else will manipulate the data I gathered for whatever reason. That the data I gathered with best possible accuracy are insignificant.
Money spills, possessions come and go. The piece of ourselves that we give with purest of intention and to genuinely help other people is something we could offer to the world and that will always stay, recognized or not.
Nonetheless, I am thankful you had given me the chance to work with you. I really am grateful beyond words.

Love arrives exactly when love is supposed to and Love leaves exactly when love must. When love arrives, say “Welcome. Make yourself comfortable.” If love leaves, ask her to leave the door open behind her. Turn off the music. Listen to the quiet.
